Bots

Bot clicks in the rule

Sometimes you need to count clicks that went through a certain rule as bots without using any 3rd party services.

Check the box next to the rule, that will allow to counte all clicks that went to the rule as bots.

Plesae note that the clicks that were deemed as bots because of getting through a rule with Mark as bot checked, will not qualify to the Is bot criterion in other rules since after getting through any rule, the click leaves the distribution funnel.

Bot clicks cost

It is often the case in which you don't pay the traffic source for the bot clicks.

We now have a way not to record a cost for the clicks that were deemed as bots.

To start doing that, you need to enable the switch in Settings > Stats > Do not assign cost for bot clicks.

Please note that after enabling this setting, no costs would be recorded only for the new bot clicks. The old bot clicks will keep the price that they currently have.

Forcing to be a bot

If you need to deem click to be bot or not bot regardless of anything else (for example to test an integration with some 3rd party services) you can add &is_bot=1 to the campaign link to count a click as bot or is_bot=0 to never be counted as a bot.

The resulting campaign link would be looking similar to this:
https://tracker.com/сlick?key=abc123&is_bot=1. A click created with such campaign link will always be counte as bot.
